Recycling

Cherokee County has two official recycling stations. Recyclables such as food and beverage cans, plastic bottles and containers, flattened cardboard, and paperboard are accepted at no cost to residents of Cherokee County. Bagged trash, appliances and other household waste may be accepted for a fee.
