After much discussion among elected officials and City staff, the difficult decision has been made to cancel Autumn Fest 2022.
For the last 20 years, the City of Holly Springs has worked to provide residents and visitors with high-quality events. Autumn Fest came to be by the efforts of the Centennial Committee when celebrating the first 100 years of Holly Springs history, and has since grown to become the City’s signature event. Since then, various staff members have taken the lead in the event's organizing and planning, but each one has made it their mission to improve upon the prior year’s Autumn Fest and offer the best experience they could to vendors and guests. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks, it became apparent to staff that this year’s event was not going to meet the standards that vendors and guests have become accustomed to and deserve.
2020 and 2021 brought so many changes to the event landscape. Coupling that with the substantial transitional period that the City finds itself in while developing the Town Center, elected officials and staff have made the decision to pause not only Autumn Fest, but also the Holly Springs Christmas Parade until the Town Center Project is completed.
We look forward to welcoming you all to the Town Center in the near future by hosting all of the events we all have grown to know and love over the years.
