GDOT Industrial Connector Info

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) wants your input in its study of the Holly Springs Industrial Connector

Residents who were unable to attend the public information open house on August 8th can still view the information presented and submit their comments to GDOT.

Cherokee County residents interested in learning more about the proposed study and subsequent project are encouraged to visit www.dot.ga.gov/PS/Public/PublicOutreach to view project information and to submit comments. (Scroll down to Search Public Outreach.  From the Search by Project drop down menu, select Holly Springs Industrial Connector.) The site will be open until August 22, 2017.

“We would like to hear the viewpoints and concerns of all area residents," says DeWayne Comer, district engineer at the Georgia DOT office in Cartersville.“The Georgia DOT strongly believes that since the proposed connector is intended to serve the people of Holly Springs and Cherokee County, the ideas and preferences of these people are important and can make a difference in our planning process,” Comer explains.

Written statements will be accepted concerning this project until Tuesday, August 22, 2017.
