Great American Cleanup

The City will take part in the Great American Cleanup, the country's largest community improvement program that kicks off each Spring and engages more than 4 million volunteers in more than 20,000 communities nation-wide, on Saturday, May 6th from 9:00 a.m. until noon. This year, City staff will join community members to clean up 362 Stringer Road.

This is a great opportunity for scouts and civic groups looking to engage and serve their community.

Everyone who participates must complete this waiver form.  Minors must have this form completed by a parent or guardian in order to participate.

City residents who participate will qualify for up to a 10%  reduction on their stormwater taxes. A representative from the Stormwater Department will be available to help residents complete the needed form and to answer any questions.

All participants are asked to wear closed-toe shoes. The City will have some work gloves available, but if participants have their own, they are asked to bring them. Snacks and waters will be available.

If you or your organization would like to take part in this event, please contact Erin Honea at 770-345-5536 or to register.
